This policy transparently describes how the website of OZIO - Il trullo rosso («the site», «we») collects, uses, stores and protects the personal data of users who browse or interact with the site, in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and applicable national data protection law.

This policy applies to all data collected through the site (contact form, cookies, navigation data) and not to data collected offline or through other channels.

We collect: (a) data provided voluntarily: name, email address, message and any other fields completed in the contact form, solely to respond to requests; (b) navigation data: IP address, browser type, pages visited, date and time of access, necessary for the technical operation and security of the site; (c) data from analytics cookies (e.g. Google Analytics 4), only with your explicit consent via the cookie banner, for statistical and site improvement purposes. We do not collect special (sensitive) data nor data relating to minors under 16 through the site.

The legal bases for processing are: performance of pre-contractual or contractual measures (responding to contact requests and managing the relationship with the data subject); legitimate interest (site security, fraud prevention, service improvement); legal obligation where applicable; express consent (non-technical cookies, analytics).

Contact data and communications are kept for as long as necessary to handle requests and, where applicable, to comply with legal obligations (e.g. document retention). Navigation data and technical logs are kept for the period strictly necessary for security and operation (in any case in line with providers' policies). Data associated with analytics cookies are kept in accordance with Google's policies (Google Analytics 4).

Data may be processed by parties providing services necessary for the site: (1) Hosting: Vercel Inc. (USA) – service delivery and site hosting; (2) Analytics: Google Ireland Limited (Google Analytics 4) – usage statistics, only with consent; (3) Form security: Google (reCAPTCHA v2) – spam protection; (4) Email delivery: Resend or other SMTP provider – handling of messages from the contact form. Transfers to countries outside the EU (e.g. USA) are governed by standard contractual clauses or other mechanisms approved by the European Commission. The data subject has the right, within the limits of the law, to: access their data; rectification or erasure; restriction of processing; object to processing; data portability (where applicable); withdraw consent at any time (without affecting the lawfulness of processing based on consent before withdrawal).
